On Cloud 5 is the sneaker that bridges running and lifestyle. The patented CloudTec sole has individual "cloud" pods that compress on impact and spring back — it creates a distinctive cushioned feel that's different from Nike or Adidas foam. The speed-lacing system (pull to tighten, push to release) makes them slip-on easy. The engineered mesh upper is breathable but structured. They look clean and minimal — equally appropriate at a café or a casual office. True to size, lightweight, and the outsole grips well on wet surfaces. They're not the best for long-distance running, but for daily wear, travel, light jogs, and gym sessions, they're the perfect hybrid. The Swiss design aesthetic is a welcome change from bulky athletic shoes.
